Global interest in buying Egyptian cotton in Germany
Engineer Mohamed Khedr, President of CATGO, Confirmed the global demand from international spinning mills for contracting to buy Egyptian cotton.
He said that officials from 22 countries, which participated in Bremen conference, Germany; have exalted the quality & properties of Egyptian cotton, beside regaining of its superior position. He added, the officials from many companies proposed to contract and buy Egyptian cotton.
After the arrival from Bremen conference, attended by more than 50 cotton producing & exporting countries ; he assured that all procedures toward the interest of Egyptian cotton –through developing more than ten hybrid strains – helped to overpass American pima like Giza86 , and in turn this led to increased global demand on Egyptian cotton & increasing exports .
